Surabaya: Exploring A LOT of Museums + Transportation with just IDR 7.500 (English)

Since Surabaya is Indonesia’s second biggest city, it is crucial to have such easy and informative tour for local and international tourist to get to know better about Surabaya inside out. The government came out with a program called the “Surabaya Shopping and Culinary Track” as a part of public service initiation. This was actually the first time I did a city tour with a bus in Indonesia, where I was brought to lots of museums to learn more about the history of both Surabaya as a city and Indonesia as a country. At the end of the day, all I can say is that I am very satisfied with this tour, and if I didn’t sign up for the tour, I might have spend more money for the transportation fee to each of the museum, a great deal I’ve made so far.

10 Things I Prepared for my First EVER Hostel Stay! (English)

I can’t believe the fact that I will be travelling for 2 weeks all alone!

Hostel itself is a cheaper version of Hotel, where I will be staying in a room with other people, depending on how many beds are available inside the room. The separation of gender in some hostels are also different, some hostels mixed both genders inside the room, while some other hostels separates both genders into their own room. There is also a private room available for 2 person, but because I am going for solo travelling, I will be staying in the room with the most beds (usually 10-12 beds)

10 Things I Prepared for my First EVER Hostel Stay! (Bahasa Indonesia)

Saya benar-benar tidak bisa percaya bahwa saya pernah pergi backpacking selama 2 minggu!

Hostel sendiri merupakan versi ekonomis dari Hotel, dimana saya akan tinggal sekamar dengan orang-orang lain tergantung dengan jumlah kasur yang tersedia per kamar. Pembagian kamar hostel pun berbeda-beda, ada hostel yang menggabungkan kamar laki-laki dan perempuan, dan ada hostel yang memisahkannya. Ada juga hostel yang menyediakan kamar pribadi untuk berdua, tapi karena saya perginya sendiri, saya pun memilih untuk tinggal di kamar dengan jumlah kasur terbanyak (biasanya 10-12 kasur).
