“The temperature here is just right for me”, that’s what came first in my mind.

The city of Bandung is surrounded by mountains, so the morphological form of its territory is like a giant bowl, the weather itself is quite cool (for a tropical country) with an average of 23.5ºC  as it is located ±768 m above sea level.

Pada tanggal 12 Agustus 2017, saya dan teman-teman saya di Bali pergi untuk mencari matahari terbit dari salah satu Gunung Api aktif di Bali, Gunung Batur.

Semuanya bermula saat kami bertemu untuk makan siang, teman saya, Michelle, memperkenalkan saya dengan kakaknya, Angel, yang baru saja pindah ke Bali untuk tinggal dengan Michelle.

Mount Batur, when life is too flat, climb a mountain! (English)

 

On 12th of August 2017, me and my friends in Bali went to catch a sunrise from one of Balinese’s exotic, active Volcano, Mount Batur.

It all started when we met for a lunch the previous month, my friend, Michelle, introduced me to her sister, Angel, whom moved to Bali recently to live together with Michelle.

Moving to BALI, again! (Indonesia)

Semuanya bermula di bulan Agustus 2016, saya pindah ke Bali, Indonesia untuk menyelesaikan program magang dari kampus. Selama 4 bulan, saya tinggal dan bekerja di Bali, yang hampir sudah saya rasa sebagai “rumah” saya. Setelah program magang selesai, saya memutuskan untuk tinggal di Bali. Saya telah mengirimkan surat lamaran pekerjaan ke beberapa hotel di Bali, mencari rumah untuk disewa bersama teman-teman, dan bahkan berfikir untuk membeli mobil kecil untuk pergi bekerja.

Moving to BALI, again! (English)

It all started in August 2016, I moved to Bali, Indonesia, temporarily as I was having my university’s internship program in Bali. For 4 months I lived and worked in Bali, which I almost considered as “home”. After the Internship program ended, I decided to permanently live in Bali, I’ve sent lots of job applications to hotels in Bali, finding a house to rent together with my friends, and even thinking about buying a small car to go to work.
